HR Project Consultant (Fixed Term Contract)
Westbury, Wiltshire
£40,000 per annum + benefits
3–4 months fixed term contract

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business to support a key HR project and are looking for an experienced HR Project Consultant to join them on a short-term basis.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you’ll take ownership of reviewing, updating, and implementing core HR documentation and processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the business is compliant, consistent, and set up for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update the employee handbook
  • Audit and revise HR policies and procedures
  • Support rollout of updated employment contracts
  • Refresh job descriptions across the business
  • Ensure compliance with current UK employment legislation
  • Provide guidance on employment rights and HR best practice
  • Work closely with stakeholders to implement changes
  • Identify gaps and recommend process improvements

About You:

  • Proven generalist HR experience (Advisor level or above)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience delivering HR projects or policy/contract reviews
  • Able to work independently and drive outcomes
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) desirable
