Having recently completed some salary benchmarking for a client, I know that being an employer in Wiltshire it is challenging to do this. As with the county being predominantly made up of SMEs, for any benchmarking purposes you have to open this up to a regional level.
The key to any recruitment is knowing that you have a competitive offering, and the two main factors in this are basic salary and holiday allowance. As many people see hybrid working as a bonus but with the current energy pressures, employers and employees say this has been working out well for both parties.
