The “End of Month” wave is dominated by massive transformation projects and a move towards data-driven HR.
Transformation & Culture: A major new entry from Lloyds Banking Group for a Culture Transformation Lead has immediately hit Over 200 applicants. This indicates that “People & Places” initiatives are currently the highest priority (and most competitive) area in the regional market.
People Insights & Data: Johnson Controls has entered the market with a People Insights Partner role. This reflects a growing trend of South West employers investing in HR analytics and data-led decision-making as they head into Q2.
Complex Case Management: There is a specific rise in specialist advisory roles, including Senior HR Case Advisor (Tate Recruitment) and the return of an ER Specialist role in Bristol.
Public Sector & Innovation: Significant activity from Innovate UK and UK Research and Innovation for People Partner and Culture roles shows that the region’s innovation hub remains a robust recruiter for high-level people talent.
