Are you an experienced Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver?  Do you thrive within a small, but busy team? Well if so, then this could be the temporary assignment for you!

My client is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join their friendly and well-established team in Melksham. You will play an intricate part in the team, as the role will entail a variety of warehouse duties, but also to deliver products through the UK in a company 3.5-tonne van with a tail lift.

The role:

• Processing goods in/goods out
• Picking and packing of orders
• Delivering orders throughout the UK to customers
• Moving stock with a forklift/counterbalance
• Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete

Person specification:

• Previous experience within a warehouse/driving setting is essential
• Previous experience using a forklift/counterbalance would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
• Clean driving licence

The company offers a supportive and dedicated team environment, where full training will be given.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week) with 1 hour for lunch. Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work overtime and on occasion an expensed overnight stay away.

Due to the client’s location, having your own transport would be advantageous.
