Telescopic Forklift Operator — Residential refurb Project

About the Role

We are actively recruiting an experienced Telescopic Forklift Operator to join a residential construction project near Newbury.

You’ll be working with an established construction company, supporting the day-to-day running of an active refurbishment development.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable, safety-focused operator looking for steady, ongoing work on a well-organised residential site.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a telescopic forklift to load, unload and move building materials around the development
  • Deliver materials safely to plots, work areas and storage compounds as directed by the site team
  • Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects or maintenance issues
  • Adhere to all site safety protocols, RAMS and regulations while operating machinery
  • Work alongside groundworkers, bricklayers and site management to keep the build moving

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating a telehandler, ideally on residential or new-build sites
  • Strong understanding of on-site health and safety
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
  • Full PPE
