Working in partnership with Hills Municipal Collections, CMD Recruitment is recruiting for Waste Collection LGV Drivers & Kerbside Loaders to work across Wiltshire on the collection of household waste, recycling and garden waste collections.

Permanent and temporary opportunities are available across Wiltshire – working out of  Calne, Trowbridge, and Salisbury depots.

Waste Collection LGV Driver
Permanent – – £27,823.39 per annum + Overtime
Temporary – £13.99 per hour

Basic hours are Monday to Thursday 06:45 to 15:15 and Friday 06:45 to 14:45
There will also be a requirement to work Bank Holidays

CMD Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with Hills Municipal Collections Ltd (HMC) with the recruitment of Waste Collection LGV Drivers to join their collection team.

You will join HMC on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum alongside a great range of benefits, including:

    • 21  days holiday per annum increasing annually to 28 with a holiday trading option

Kerbside Loader
Permanent – £22,722.08 per annum + Overtime
Temporary – £11.81 per hour

Basic hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:15 and Friday 07:00 to 14:45
There will also be a requirement to work Bank Holidays.

CMD Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with Hills Municipal Collections Ltd (HMC) with the recruitment of Kerbside Loader’s to join their collection team. The main function of the role is to work as part of a team of three, to collect kerbside recycling and waste goods from residential areas, which are then segregated, transported and returned to the facility.

Responsibilities

    • To collect from residential properties safely, securely, punctually and in accordance with the company policy
    • Manual handling – Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and all waste is transported in a safe and secure manner
    • Reversing assistant duties – Working closely with your driver, to ensure accident prevention legislations are followed and all instructions are taken and relayed correctly to your team
    • Representing the organisation professionally and dealing with all customers and members of the public in a friendly and personable manner, always

The successful candidates must have experience working outdoors and dealing with the general public. This is a physically demanding role and you will be required to undertake basic health and safety, manual handling and reversing assistant training prior to starting your assignment. You will be working in all weather conditions therefore, you must be prepared for this and it is also essential you are an effective team player.

Full PPE, training and a health and safety induction will be provided.
