Salary: Up to £35,000

Location: Frome, Somerset

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30 (1/2 hour unpaid lunch)

I have been requested by our Client, a well-established and respected distributor of automotive parts and accessories to recruit a Parts Sales Advisor for their busy depot in Frome.

We’re currently recruiting for a Parts Sales Advisor to join an established business in Frome. This is a varied, customer-focused role where you’ll be responsible for handling parts enquiries, processing orders and building strong relationships with customers.

You’ll play an important part in delivering excellent customer service, supporting the wider sales team and helping the business achieve its sales targets.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling customer enquiries relating to car parts and providing helpful, accurate information.
• Processing orders promptly and accurately.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Providing technical support and advice where appropriate.
• Supporting the sales team in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
• Identifying opportunities to promote products, offers and marketing campaigns.
• Resolving customer queries and issues professionally and efficiently.
• Keeping up to date with stock availability, new products and developments within the motor industry.
• Providing shop cover when required.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and taking part in relevant training and development.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, communicates confidently and takes pride in providing a reliable and professional service.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• The ability to learn and use internal stock systems.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Previous experience within the motor trade, particularly with parts identification and lookup systems, would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
