Junior CAD Technician / Draftsperson (AutoCAD)

Job Type: 6 Months temporary
Hours: 37 hours per week – DAYS

We’re recruiting for a Junior CAD Technician / Draftsperson to support a busy manufacturing site with updating and maintaining factory layout drawings.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their CAD career to gain hands-on experience in a real industrial environment, working closely with engineering and operations teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Updating and maintaining 2D AutoCAD drawings of factory layouts
• Producing layouts for production, storage, and office areas
• Making updates following machinery moves or site changes
• Carrying out basic site measurements and surveys
• Working with engineering and operations teams to gather information
• Keeping drawings accurate and up to date

What we’re looking for:

• Basic to intermediate AutoCAD (2D) experience
• A qualification or training in CAD or engineering (preferred)
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong communication skills

Desirable:

• Any experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
• Understanding of basic production or engineering processes
