We are supporting a well established and independent accountancy practice in West Dorset as they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their friendly team as a Senior Accounts Technician.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high quality accounts preparation and duties will include: –
* Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Liaising directly with clients to obtain records and resolve queries
* Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with relevant regulations and deadlines
Other duties could include: –
* VAT Return preparation and compliance
* Payroll processing and associated compliance duties
* Assisting with bookkeeping and general accounting support where needed
About You
* Proven experience working within an accountancy practice environment
* Ideally AAT qualified but will consider QBE
* Strong knowledge of accounts preparation for a range of business entities
* Good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
