New Opportunities and Market Shift

The market has seen a move towards more senior and specialist positions. This week’s listings include several HR Business Partner and Consultant roles, which were not present in the previous week’s data.

Key New Roles:

  • HR Business Partner (Dyson): This new full-time role is based in Malmesbury and offers a higher salary range of £40,000 – £50,000 per year.
  • People Partner (HR Business Partner) (OV): A full-time position for an HR Business Partner has appeared in Bristol within the utilities sector.
  • HR Consultant – Reward & Benefits (Korn Ferry): A specialist consulting role has been posted, indicating a demand for niche HR expertise.
  • HR Officer (Brambles): A new full-time HR Officer role is now available in Bristol.

Roles No Longer Available

Several roles that were actively hiring last week appear to have been filled or the listings have expired. Notably, some of these had very high application numbers, suggesting a competitive but fast-moving market.

Key Roles from Last Week Now Closed:

  • Assistant HR Consultant (VWV): This position had received 84 applications.
  • HR Generalist (Lovehoney Group): This popular role had attracted 77 applicants.
  • Employee Relations Specialist (CMS UK): This role had 29 applicants.
  • Various Administrator and Apprentice positions: Several entry-level roles, including HR Administrator and HR Apprentice, are no longer listed.

 

Continuing Positions and Trends

A few roles have continued to be advertised, with some slight changes. This indicates that these are either new listings for the same role or that they are still actively seeking candidates.

  • The HR Advisor role at Zimmer Biomet and the Human Resources Advisor at Culina Group Limited are still open and actively recruiting.
  • The job market has broadened this week, with new opportunities appearing in the Consumer Electronics, Utilities, and Business Consulting sectors, in addition to the previously dominant legal and construction industries.
