SQL Reporting Support Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd and/or 3rd Line Support:

Address end-user issues promptly, ensuring resolutions for SQL report queries.

Analyse intricate SQL queries to identify and resolve performance, data, or functionality issues.

Issue Resolution:

Investigate and resolve reported issues linked to SQL report generation.

Collaborate with end-users and cross-functional teams to understand, reproduce, and address reported problems.

Query Optimization:

Conduct analysis to optimise SQL queries for enhanced performance and efficiency.

Implement best practices to elevate the overall functionality of SQL report queries.

End-User Support and Collaboration:

Engage closely with end-users, gathering requirements and comprehending reporting needs.

Address user queries and troubleshoot issues related to reporting tools and SQL queries.

Documentation:

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of reports, data sources, and data transformation processes.

Qualifications:

Approximately 2 years of experience in SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.

Proven track record as an SQL Report Writer or in a similar role.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with various business units.

Proactive, self-managed, and eager to acquire new skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per annum
