Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday
Hourly rate: £17.00 p/h

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected client for a Sales Administrator to join their growing and dynamic sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and liaising across multiple departments.

The Role:

As the Sales Administrator, you will report to the Sales Team Leader and play a vital role in managing customer accounts from initial enquiry through to order completion. You’ll be working closely with internal teams including Quality, Planning, and Design to ensure all necessary information is in place for smooth production and timely delivery.

This position requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of internal business processes, and the ability to manage expectations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming customer enquiries and directing them to the appropriate internal departments (e.g., drawings, specifications, or new product requests).
  • Creating accurate quotes and processing customer orders efficiently.
  • Monitoring production progress (WIP) and updating both internal teams and customers.
  • Allocating stock items to initiate the despatch process.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers and relaying key information internally as needed.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams with customer-related requests (e.g., environmental documentation, material traceability, and capacity reviews).
