Production Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Wilton, Salisbury
Pay: £12.21 per hour + overtime
Hours: Monday – Thursday. 07:00 – 17:15. Working 39 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

I have been requested to recruit a number of reliable and motivated Production Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based in Wilton. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within a hands-on production environment, working on high-quality solid surface products used in a variety of industries.

The Role:

As a Production Operative, you will work within the Moulding and Finishing Department, supporting the manufacture and assembly of bespoke products. Full training will be provided, and you will be working in a clean, modern, and well-equipped production facility.

Main Duties Include:

• Assisting with a range of moulding and finishing activities to meet production targets.
• Preparing and setting up moulds, applying wax coatings, and assembling fittings.
• Pouring, shaping, and curing materials to form solid surface components.
• Using a range of tools to sand, grind, polish, drill, and cut surfaces.
• Carrying out quality checks and product testing to ensure accuracy and finish.
• Completing labelling and production documentation precisely.
• Upholding excellent housekeeping and safety standards at all times.
• Providing assistance across different production areas when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Practical, hands-on approach with a strong eye for detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow work instructions accurately.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take pride in producing high-quality work.
