As an Open Spaces Operational Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team and the overall management of all owned open spaces and buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of services to agreed standards
• Identify staff training needs
• Recommend appropriate staffing levels
• Performance reporting
• Ensure the delivery of services are within the agreed budget
• Ensure all building and equipment are maintained and serviced
• Ordering stock
• Liaise with external contractors
• Maintain Health and Safety records to include conducting risk assessments and COSHH sheets
• Investigate any complaints

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience managing a team is essential
• Experience with grounds maintenance / horticulture experience essential
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Driving licence

This position is working 37 hours per week 5 days out of 7

Most weeks will be working Monday – Friday however, some weekend/evening working is needed to cover events
