Manufacturing Associate            

Hours – Permanent days Monday – Friday

Temporary 

Pay – £11.42 p/h

My client, a global leader in the development of safety equipment, are looking to recruit additional Manufacturing Associates for various roles within their operation based in Yate.

Within the role of a Manufacturing Associate your main purpose will vary from ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials within the site, to assisting production by ensuring supply of materials are available, inspection and prepping of materials ready for production.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Receipt of deliveries
• Storing products within the warehouse using lifting gear or a forklift truck
• Maintaining accurate stock counts and measurements. 
• Picking and preparation of materials
• Lay-planning
• Running of cutting machinery
• Packing and labelling

The working hours for these positions are on days, which will be: 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday and 8.00am – 1.00pm Friday.

There is also the option for overtime available either side of these core hours as and when required.

Skills/Experience required

• Stores / warehouse experience advantageous
• Must be computer literate
• Forklift licence (Advantageous)
• Competent level of Maths and English

Due to the nature of these roles, you will be stood for long periods of time and elements of these roles will be physically demanding.
