Hourly Rate: £12.26 per hour Annual Salary: Approximately £7,000 (based on term-time hours).
£7367.00

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 11:00 am – 1:45 pm
• 2 hours and 45 minutes per day, 13 hours and 45 minutes per week.
• Term-time only, working 38 weeks per year.

We’re looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant catering team at our Trowbridge based Client.

About the Role As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of meal services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving prepared meals to pupils at lunchtime.
• Preparing the food hall for meals and cleaning up after lunch service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining area.
• Assisting with basic food preparation and catering for meetings as needed.
• Adhering to food safety, health, and safety requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Ideally, you will have:

• A friendly personality with a can-do approach.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Experience or qualifications in catering (desirable but not essential).
• The ability to work well as part of a team.

Requirements The successful candidate will undergo enhanced DBS, medical, and reference checks. A good level of literacy is essential. Awareness of health and safety standards within a kitchen environment is desirable.
