Skilled Furniture Maker / Cabinet Maker / Joiner

Hindon, Wiltshire

Salary: £24,000 – £40,000 (higher salary available for experienced Cabinet Vision users)

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Contract: Full-time (3-month fixed term contract, with the opportunity for a permanent role)

Our client specialises in designing and crafting bespoke kitchens and back-of-house spaces that are both functional and timeless. Their designs are meant to blend seamlessly with period architectural surroundings and withstand the test of time. With a focus on practicality, we create spaces that will develop character through use and continue to tell stories for generations to come. Their approach is rooted in craftsmanship, with no ego or unnecessary flamboyance – just design that endures.

Purpose of the role

We are currently seeking a Skilled Furniture Maker, Cabinet Maker, or Joiner to join our talented workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for furniture making and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. You will work within a well-equipped, modern workshop that features both traditional woodworking machines and CNC equipment.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Completion of a furniture-making or joinery apprenticeship.
  • A furniture-making or furniture design degree.
  • At least two years of experience working in a furniture workshop.
  • Passionate about furniture making, with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience with site installation is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to contribute to high-quality projects.
