My client is looking to recruit an additional machinist to join their milling section, which contains various lathes including VMC 1000 machining centres. You will be producing small batches of precision engineering parts to AS9100, TS16949 standards.
Duties:
Producing parts from plate and welded components in varying materials including stainless
Measuring parts on the machines using Heidenhein/Renishaw probing and use of hand measuring equipment and microscopes
Using hand tools, presses and coilers to reshape products as required
Be required to self certify through set in house quality procedures

Experience Required:
Experience with CNC (Heidenhien) and conventional milling machines an advantage.

Previous experience within a similar role
This position will initially be working a day shift pattern, although you must be flexible to work a two shift rotating pattern if required.
